Sunbathing Alligator

Posted by
James (Central Florida, United States) on 7 February 2016 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

Enjoying my walk around Viera Wetlands, I was not paying attention to where I was going - I was too busy bird watching. Fortunately, I happened to look down and noticed this medium-sized alligator sunbathing on the shore of one of the supplemental ponds a few feet in front of me. The encounter reminded me of the importance of watching where I was stepping.
